Terri Knight had more than 20 years of experience in the marketing and PR field before moving into higher education in 2010.  While in the field she obtained her Certified Marketing Director Designation (CMD) and also holds her Senior Practitioner designation from the Southern Public Relations Federation. She currently serves as PR Lecturer and Associate Director of the PR Program at Auburn.   Knight is passionate about providing students with real world, applicable coursework through service-learning opportunities with area non-profit organizations and small businesses.  She uses these projects not only as a way to learn more about the industry but also to impress upon students the importance of giving back to the community in which they live and work.  She also hopes that the Oaks Agency takes service-learning to the next level by giving students the ability to understand the management process within an agency before entering the field.
